Powers & History: Zero was the first Adam-unit (android) activated by Stryfe in the future he came from. He had the ability to open portals in space (and time) and was used as the teleporter for the M.L.F. when Stryfe came to the 20th century. After his master died, Zero worked for Tyler Dayspring for a time, and gradually became self-aware. Zero also reverted to his original programming, that of a peace-keeping, weapons-destroying robot, which brought him into conflict with Deadpool (who of course, uses lots of weapons).

Zero was then attacked by Stryfe's preprogrammed hunter robots, which were attempting to destroy all traces of Stryfe in the 20th century. During the battles, Zero freed Douglock from the Phalanx. In a final bit of torture, one of Stryfe's programs allowed Zero to become fully capable of human emotion only instants before he was to be destroyed. The program also allowed Zero to access all the data on the Legacy Virus, presumably including the cure. However, that data was not lost, as Douglock returned to help Zero, who transferred all of the Legacy info to him. Zero was then melted down by tons of magma.

Recently, however, a damaged Zero was seen in the employ of Edwin Martynec, an evil geneticist, leading to the suspicion that there has been more than one incarnation of the Zero robot, or that Zero's body was much more durable than previously believed. This Zero robot was seemingly destroyed by Siryn when Martynec captured her and Warpath after they discovered his complicity in the massacre at Camp Verde.
