Full Name: UnknownYukio gave Amiko some martial arts training, but was upset when Amiko used her skills to fight in school, even if she only fought bullies. Though once content to live with little comforts, Yukio got some cash flowing (somehow) and upgraded her standards of living for Amiko's sake. On another of Logan's trips to Japan, she and Amiko were captured by Gom Kaishek as leverage over Wolverine, but Yukio and Amiko escaped his clutches and Yukio set off alone after Gom's sister Kia. She made her assault on Kia's stronghold, but was gunned down when Kia hid in a nook. Yukio's injuries were severe, but she survived.
Recently, Yukio was attacked by Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike, who had been hired by Sabretooth. She was severely injured to the point of paralysis, and a message to Logan was carved into her back. Fearing that the paralysis might be permanent, she asked Logan to kill her, but he refused.
Some time afterwards, Yukio apparently made a full recovery, and took Storm to see a bout at the Arena, a fighting circuit for super-humans. When Storm interfered, and later became the Arena's champion, Yukio objected. After Masque took over the Tokyo Arena, Yukio and Strong Guy tried to make a deal with the former leader Koga. Yukio was brought to Masque as a peace offering and Masque ordered Storm to kill her. Storm slit Yukio's throat, but only broke a few layers of skin, so Yukio played dead until Storm made her move, and then she took out Masque's henchmen. It is unclear whether she is still Amiko's guardian at this time.
