Finishing the Skrull story. While the X-Men battle the Skrulls and Galactus begins to feed, Professor X confromts Galactus and tries to make him stop. He tries to channel all of the Skrulls' emotions into Galactus, but the World-Eater shrugs it off. He questions why Xaiver would save beings who plotted his own destruction in the past, and why he would try to avert something that for him, is history. At least someone with a consistent view of time travel is writing now, as in this month's Cable. Wolverine, off looking for Kitty runs into some trouble, but is saved by Kitty herself, along with the doppelgangers of the dead heroes who found her last issue. They move off to find a ship. Meanwhile, Gambit has his hands full trying to protect Marrow, who's still in the healing chamber. Suddenly, little toothpick things spit out and stab the Skrulls, and they run off. Marrow is out, and looks great. She's still got bone on her face, but it's curved now and under control, as are the rest of her growths. How she can ever undress, I don't know, because the bone forms boots and underwear for her, and there's this blue underneath. I think that was done afterwards, and the blue jumpsuit wasn't in the original designs. Anyway, she looks kind of like Witchblade, but I hope she doesn't become that kind of sex symbol. This should certainly change her outlook on life. Xavier's astral form is losing energy, and is about to discorporate when he's shoved back into his body by Galactus. Why I don't know. Logan and Kitty survived an explosion, as did the craft they were after, but the Adam Warlock double was hurt, and the Skrulls decide to stay. Warlock gives Kitty a telepathic gift, the knowledge to fly the ship. Kitty picks up the rest of the team, and the leave as the planet is destroyed. Now it's eight years in the past, so thankfully, the ship has a stasis-field. Kitty pushes a button, and the next panel it's eight years later and they're orbiting Earth. They're a little early, so they get hit by the EM wave from Magneto's last attack. I guess they're not going to get to try to stop the Magneto War, as the previews said, because next month is the start of the whole M-Tech thing. I wonder how they'll make up the extra days. Anyway, I liked the Marrow thing, the time-travel thing, and the destruction thing, and the art was pretty good, too.
