Part 4 of "The Phalanx Covenant"
Clarice is attacked by a Phalanx who is quickly conquered when her friends, even in her fright, convince her to use her powers. After recuperating from Clarice's attack, the Phalanx unit is finally destroyed by Monet with a single blow. Just when they think they're safe, they come face to face with Harvest, who tells them of the Phalanx's plans to replace mutants as the more superior species, to finally rid the world of mutants. Harvest says that for reasons unknown, he was extracted from the collective but will continue to serve their purpose along with the Phalanx who are with him.
Banshee and Everett make their way up the side of the ship that holds the Phalanx and the Children. Inside the hull, the White Queen has already telepathically found the missing children as she and Jubilee make their way up.
Harvest continues his attack on the children but is disrupted by a growl that belonged to Sabretooth, who bolts out of nowhere and starts battling Harvest. Paige doesn't recognize him but she knows he's not one of the X-Men she was waiting for to save her and the rest. Sabretooth manages to slice and dice Harvest with his razor-sharp claws when Banshee and Ev show up. Angelo tells Sean about Paige's techno-organic virus infection and just then, Sabretooth ripped her up after sniffing two scents. Lo and behold! Paige's power to husk her skin to reveal any other material underneath is revealed. No time for rejoicing because Harvest pulls himself together to form a bigger Harvest. Emma and Jubilee come in and Emma telepathically contacts Sean with a plan: she gets the children out of here while he and Victor battle Harvest. Victor is hit hard by one of Harvest's blows and Monet carries him out of the ship as Clarice uses her powers to teleport the hull from under them - leaving the others no choice but to stay in the water, so they can't stop her from destroying Harvest. Clarice then "blinks" Harvest and the entire ship out of existence but unfortunately gets caught in her own power's energy. Banshee tries hard to save her but she disappears and he falls into the water. Everett "synches" with Banshee (or with M) which enables him to fly and catch Sean before he drowns.
