They are given new orange jump suits to wear and while being moved, Jamie sees Layla for a moment and asks her if she is alright but she doesn’t answer as she is forces away. The guards take Jamie to a room and a man by the name of Marker Whitman appears and is ready to mark Jamie.
Alberta Canada, Now…
The X-Teams are heading to Alaska and Scott asks Emma of the location. She says there is no need to hurry, the battle is over and Cable is gone. They’re too late. Now, does he want the bad news?
Mountain…
Warpath sits over Calibans corpse screaming no. X23 informs him he is dead. Warpath says he is not dead. Hepzibah tries to comfort him but he says she doesn’t understand. Caliban dies saving him and he can’t pay him back. He can’t balance it or make it right ever.
Scott asks Logan what happened and Logan informs him that Cable is protecting the baby but he played them and got away in their own transport. Scott asks Iceman if he can pick up the other Blackbird but Iceman says he can’t because Cable ripped out the tracker. He asks Emma for her help but she can’t find him either. He is blocking her out. Logan says he is moving in a straight line south. If they follow that line, they’ll find him. He then orders Guido and Warpath to load Calibans body onto the Blackbird and Laura wants to know how they will find him. Scott says he has something else in mind.
The Xavier Institute…
Prodigy is fixing Cerebra. Santo says he can’t do it when the Stepford Cuckoo’s say yes he can. They restored all the knowledge he acquired and that his mind has an interesting structure. Prodigy get back to work.
Texas…
Cable is sitting with the baby on the side of the road when a truck pulls up. Cable throws the guy out and takes his truck, heading for Dallas.

Now, The X-Jet…
Scott asks Iceman if he can guess where Cable is headed but Iceman has no clue.
Monet informs Warpath she is picking up his thoughts. He says to leave it and he isn’t in the mood. She says she would if she could keep them blocked out and that Scott meant what he said. Caliban will get a decent burial when this is all over. Warpath says a lot more people are going to need to be buried when this is done.
Scott asks Prodigy if he is done. He say he is almost finished but the mind interface has to be perfectly aligned before he powers it up. Scott says to let him know when he is ready. Iceman doesn’t get what Cable is trying to do and can’t believe he would unleash Sentinels on his friends and wonders if they are missing something. Scott says that right now, nothing matters except for the child. Cable made his choice and he made his.
The Xavier Institute…
Prodigy finishes up on Cerebra and asks Surge to zap it with some electricity and Dust to be ready to flip the switch when he says so. Now! And Dust flips the switch and the Cuckoos put on the Cerebra helmets and start looking for Cable and they find him in Texas. They telepathically inform Emma and head for Forge because that is where he is heading. He knows what Cable wants and if they don’t stop him, they’ll loose him forever.
Texas…
Cable drives the truck through Eagle Plaza and asks for Forge not to shoot him down. He isn’t there to fight him, he needs help. Cable thanks him for not shooting him and says he needs a time machine, he is no threat and will explain everything. Suddenly he comes across Forges body lying on the floor and when he checks on him, Cable is shot in the back.
80 Years from now…
Jamie is taken and dumped inside in the internment camp. Some mutants come over and check on him to see if he is alright. On of the mutants says he’ll live, until something else kills him.
Now, Eagle Plaza…
Bishop stands over the baby with a gun pointed at it. Ready to fire.
Review: I don’t like Bishop. I never have and I never will. The scenes with the Cuckoos have got to be my favourite thing in this issue. Especially when using Cerebra and poor Jamie and Layla. The future sucks.
Review by Specter313: So, Bishop is the big traitor in the event. Can’t really say that I’m very surprised by this development. Bishop has been on the outs with the X-Men since the events of Civil War and his dealings with the government, and to see him suddenly pop up a few issues ago just seemed to rind to me that he would be up to something. I’ve actually had a little inkling that he was holding something back ever since the Endangered Species one shot where he seemed to stutter when the others asked if he knew anything about the future since he clearly came from a time where mutants were still prevalent. Will be kinda interested to see where this goes from here.
Not much else of note happened here besides the big revelation that Madrox and Layla ended up in Bishop’s time period itself. Who knows, maybe we’ll learn something else major about his background that we’ve never known before.
