Synopsis & Review by Nick Summers: Thanks!
Synopsis: Cable, Bishop and Wolverine prepare to fight, and then rush in batteling lots of robots and the Dark Riders. Cable finds it useless because for one he kills two come back. He tells Logan to retreat, but Bishop states he won't listen to him. Nate believes he has once again one of his rage attacks. Wolverine, fighting Barrage, says that isn't true at least he is fighting not babbling. Barrage fights back and pushes Logan towards Cable and Bishop making them fall against a wall. They believe they're finished now, but then the cavalerie shows up! Storm, Archangel, Iceman, Polaris, Havok, Psylocke, Cannonball and even Apocalypse prepare to assist their friends and teammates!

At his base, Stryfe is watching the battle along with Zero. Stryfe finds it useless for them to even try to interfere, because he finds it just not right. He can't understand it, and then tells Zero to stop the image, and he goes over to his prisinors. He pulls a telekinetic shield around Scott and Jean and takes them out of the base, to the moon surface, and says them to prepare themselves. Meanwhile, Beast is still researching Xavier, who's not showing any progress at all. Back to the battle squad, they've all defeated their foes and decide to split up, but first to find Scott and Jean, and everyone agrees. Apocalypse finds it useless to go after them and takes off, Archangel finds him ridiciolous. Wolverine then smells something and locates their cell, thinking they still might be in, but Betsy only finds the mind of Scott, weird enough. She opens the cell with her psychic knife, but then the vortex opens and lots of wind comes up, but Betsy quickly closes the door. Storm then reports to the other groups that they know where Scott and Jean are, on the moon.

Sam and Cable get words for abandon his team before, but decide to put it aside for now. Back to Apocalypse, he is getting weaker, but is then found by the Dark Riders, who are ready to battle! Cable and his team then set off to the moon and find Stryfe's palace. Back at the school, Wolfsbane tries to bring Hank something to eat but he has fallen asleep. Then Xavier wakes up screaming, trying to warn them that everything is one big set-up. Back at the moon, Lorna and Sam get blasted, but not Alex and Cable. As Cable and Alex turn their heads, they find Stryfe standing triomfing above Scott and Jean, showing images of past battles, and saying that it is now time for them to talk over life and death!

Review: One of the most interesting storylines ever continues, and is really, really good. Apocalypse alongside the X-Men, who would have thought. Best for not letting him joining, where would that go to?! But then again, he leaves shortly because he doesn't want to go after Scott and Jean and goes back to his former self. Hm, the Dark Riders vs. Apocalypse? Wonder how that'll turn out. Probably not good. The last page of this issue was simply the best, showing those images of the very first issue of Uncanny. Really nice. Xavier's back, good, couldn't bear to see the team without him again, that would be a real shame. The X-Men without Xavier just don't fit right with me, never has.
