Reaper debates whom to behead first, but gets nailed by Havok before he can decide. The combined X-Teams make short work of the rest of the M.L.F. as well, although Boomer takes a shot to the jaw, and Rogue gets blinded by Strobe. Back in Canada, Cable, Wolverine, and Bishop are surrounded by Dept. K operatives. Rather than fight and hurt some piad grunts, Cable opts to bodyslide himself and his buds out. At the Mansion, Colossus agonizes over the loss of his brother Mikhail, Beast agonizes over the use of his time and his inablility to help Professor X, and Guido only "laments" that he put too much Jack Daniels in his coffee. Stryfe watches events unfold, and then goes to forcibly feed Scott and Jean some baby food. He chastises them, saying that if he even knows what a baby needs, they should too. Then he has Zero teleport him to the temple of Bani Maza, where he dispatches the Dark Riders with contemptuous ease, and awakens Apocalypse. The High Lord wonders who this madman is, and Stryfe replies that he has come to kill the Eternal One.
