Part 4 of "X-Cutioner's Song"
X-Force squares off against the X-Squad, but although Sam tries to settle things peacefully, Feral jumps to attack, and the battle in joined. After being tossed around a bit by the senior team, X-Force regroups in the woods, with Wolverine hot on their tails. Meanwhile, the Gold Team, now complemented by Beast and Quicksilver, trace the Horsemen to a warehouse in Virginia. While Famine and War strike first, emaciating Beast and knocking Colossus back a bit, they and Caliban are quickly dispatched by the heroes. A hidden projector plays a hologram of Sinister, who reveals that he abducted Scott and Jean, but that he is not their real foe. Back in the Mansion, Sinister shrugs off a beautiful head shot by Bishop, and then slips Val a sheet of paper with the identity of the true enemy in this caper. In his Swiss chalet, Cable preps himself for a face-to-face confrontation with his nemesis, the only one who could have set these plans in motion. In Texas, X-Force is found and taken captive, mainly by a platoon of Multiple Men. In an unknown locale, Forearm drags Scott and Jean to a room where they are awakened by Zero, and greeted by their captor. He tells them his name is Stryfe, adding that he is "the crown prince of mutantkind." He then introduces his mother and father to the "end of tomorrow." The plot thickens....
