Meanwhile, Sersi and Exodus are blasting each other in the streets. Their battle creates enough energy that puts the entire island in jeopardy.

At the same time, the Avengers at the UN listen to Black Widow's speech, where she severs all ties with the council. While the rest of the team is bummed at having take such a drastic course of action, Hawkeye knows its for the best.

Back at Genosha, the Exodus and Sersi's battle culminates in a huge explosion. Exodus taunts Dane (who thinks Exodus looks familiar) and then flies off. Sersi is eager to fly after him, but after seeing all the destruction their battle caused, she decides not to.

While the X-Men help humans to safety, Jean Grey telepathically traces Cortez and she and Quicksilver leave to find him. In the sewers, Jean senses someone and unleashes a psionic probe, which is turned against her due to a hex bolt. After a moment of confusion, Quicksilver and Jean unite with Scarlet Witch and Crystal who are also searching for Fabian. Cortez finds them first though, carrying Luna as a human shield. He rants about all of his plans are being ruined by 'him.' He tells the group that the only way that they'll get Luna back is they kill the one hunting him. Suddenly, 'he' shows up... Exodus.
