Powers & History: Tension was a mutant with the ability to stretch his arms to great length, who was turned into a Brood host by Broodqueen Harry Palmer. As a result, Tension used a humanoid body with Brood arms tentacles, which he could make even longer and stronger. When Palmer was attacked by the X-Men in Denver, Tension defended him, using his power to keep Storm from flying off, passing her over to Temptress.

Later, the fight re-started at the Glory Day Ministry, and Tension got up above the stage and reached down the long drop to choke the Reverend Connover. Havok saw Tension's attack and fired a plasma blast at him, killing the Broodling.
