Temptress

Powers & History: Temptress was a mutant with the ability to release mind-controlling pheromones, who was turned into a Brood host by Broodqueen Harry Palmer. Though internally a Brood, Temptress favored a fully human form. Perhaps she was a later recruit and her embryo had not had time to reconfigure her body. When Palmer was attacked by the X-Men in Denver, Temptress defended him, using her power to try and possess Storm. That attempt failed, and Temptress was touched by Rogue, transferring her powers and psyche to the X-Man. Temptress's Brood-reinforced personality took control of Rogue, and she possessed Psylocke and had her zap Wolverine.

Rogue/Temptress fled along with Palmer, but flew ahead with her real body and Wolverine, who was already infected with an embryo. In midair, Wolverine began to transform into Brood, but he forced the embryo down and used the distraction to gut Temptress's host body, killing her. Rogue remained possessed by Temptress's mind a while longer, throwing Logan to the ground, and attacking Storm shortly afterwards. As they tussled Dazzler II lined up a shot and blasted Rogue with a full force photon blast. Rogue was knocked out, and when she woke up, Temptress's mind was gone.
