Xavier's Security Enforcers
About 50 or 60 years in the future, after the Sentinels began to assert their control over North
America, putting mutants in labor and death camps, humans and mutants banded
together in the Summers Rebellion and
overthrew the giant robots. In the aftermath of the fighting, the leaders of
the Rebellion, among them Genesis (AKA Forge), decided
that mutants did need to be policed and in some cases, controlled, but that
it should be mutants doing the job. So, the Xavier's Security Enforcers were
formed as a sort of mutant police force, with independent authority to handle
all matters involving mutants, be they against human or mutant alike. The X.S.E.
trains hard, fights tough, and above all, strives to keep the fragile peace
between human and mutant alive.
