Starjammers


The Starjammers take their name from their ship, the Starjammer. Led by Chris Summers (Corsair), they are all the last of their kind, their races destroyed or "assimilated" by the Shi'ar. They met in Shi'ar slave pits during the reign of Emperor D'ken, and after escaping, added his sister Lilandra to their ship's complement, eventually helping her regain the throne after much hardship. The 'Jammers took Professor X with them when he was dying, saving his life with their advanced medical technology. They also helped Lil regain the throne from her sister Deathbird, but have fallen out of favor with the Empire since the Kree-Shi'ar War. Lilandra tries to help them when she can, but for now, they reside in the loosely confederated anarchist worlds known as the Clench.
