New Hellions


Formed by Chris Aaronson, the long-lost brother of Jesse Aaronson and himself once a prospective Hellions recruit, this group has little in common with the original Hellions. They're basically in it for the money. In their first meeting with X-Force, the New Hellions gave the heroes a pretty good beating, and then took control of their bodies to help resurrect the Armageddon Man, one of the earliest and most powerful mutants, whom they planned to use to hold the United States for ransom.

Note: An earlier, short-lived group also calling themselves the "New Hellions" was run by Emplate and attacked Generation X. All of them were given feeder mouths on their bodies similar to their leader's. Team members were:
Bulwark: German with size- and strength-enhancement abilities.
Gayle Edgerton: Chamber's ex-girlfriend, who was crippled by Jono's initial blast of power. She apparently offered her services to Emplate in return for his healing her.
Murmur: A mummified man with apparent teleportation powers.
Vincente: Exists in a purple gaseous form, as well as in liquid and solid form. As a gas, he can smother people and knock them unconscious.
This team lasted all of three issues, were pretty stupid and haven't been seen since, so they will continue to be relegated to this footnote, barring further apprearances.
