Dark Riders
Aliases: The Riders of the Storm
A group of mutants, Inhumans, and enhanced humans, the Riders were Apocalypse's foot soldiers in his Darwinistic war of supremacy. They were so enthralled by his "survival of the fittest" dogma that they joined Stryfe when he beat Apocalypse, and still continued to "test" other mutants (and themselves) even after their masters "died" on the moon. Later they were re-formed by Genesis who used them to capture Wolverine in the hopes of restoring his adamantium bones. In that final confrontation, most of the Riders were killed, including Genesis. Amazingly, however, almost all of the original Riders reappeared with Stryfe in his most recent attempt to take over the world.
