Codename Etymology: Pronounced stōn'wôl' [From Old English stān + Latin vallus "stake"]; An obstruction of stone.
Powers & History: Stonewall was extremely strong and nearly invulnerable. He was supposed to be untoppleable (if that's a real word), although Storm managed to fell him twice. Stonewall, along with Crimson Commando and Super Sabre made up a trio of WWII heroes who found that society didn't need them after the war. They became vigilantes, and hunted drug dealers and other criminals in deathgames near their country home. Through a misunderstanding, Storm got involved in one of these hunts, but she beat them proving herself worthy and their methods flawed. Stonewall convinced the others to turn themselves in and the three joined Freedom Force for rehabilitation. Stoney was a stalwart member of the team, and their most noble. He was killed when Pierce sent a tremendous electrical shock through him during the Reavers' attack on Muir Island.
