Codename Etymology: Pronounced shô, shĭn'ō'bē [From Middle English, from Old English sceaga; akin to Old Norse skegg "beard"].
Powers & History: Shinobi can alter his body's density from diamond-hard to intangible. He usually uses it as a means of getaway, but he can also use the intangibility to reach into an opponent's heart and induce a heart attack, as he tried to do with his father. His powers are very similar to Harry Leland's, leading one to suspect that Shaw might not really be his father after all. Shinobi took his place as Black King of the Hellfire Club after his attempted murder of his father, but never really re-formed the Inner Circle, and apparently was ousted quite easily upon his father's return.
