Codename Etymology: Pronounced rōō-lĕt' [From Latin rota "wheel"]; A game where people bet on which slot of a wheel a small ball will come to rest.
Powers & History: The daughter of a casino dealer, Roulette was able to change a person's luck, a power which she focused by throwing gambling chips, black for bad luck, red for good. She accompanied Thunderbird II on his mission to capture and kill Professor X, and was visibly upset by Empath's manipulations of Firestar. It seems she had unreciprocated feelings for Empath. After a number of years at the Massachussetts Academy and some conflicts with the New Mutant, Roulette was one of the Hellions whose life force was drained by Fitzroy to allow him to open a massive time portal for his criminal gang.
