"Forget Me Not, Part 4"
by Tony Bedard and Karl Moline

Synopsis by Namor1111a. Thanks!:
Synopsis: We begin our tale as our two courageous heroes break into the villians old warehouse hideout. Sunfire like usual blazes in like hell's inferno without thinking. Rogue takes on our mystery mutant, who's name is finally revealed to be Blindspot. However Lady Deathstrike intervenes and Rogue is stuck to battle her now, however Blindspot ambushes Rogue from the side.

Sunfire then turns his attention to Lady Deathstrike. He bombards her with massive fire balls. However Deathstrike sets off the water sprinklers which interacts with Sunfire's fire creating a thick cloud of smoke. Sunfire's vision is compormised and doesn't see a deadly attact from Lady Deathstrike coming until it's to late. With one quick strike Sunfire's legs are cut off.

Lady Deathstrike then attacks Rogue and knocks her out cold. Rogue then wakes up 3 hours later chained to a bed. Sunfire is chained to the bed next to hers, he's on life support. Just then Blindspot comes in she and Rogue argue, then Blindspot touches her and unlocks some hidden memories. It's several years earlier and we are now looking at a memory of an old mission Rogue was on with Mystique. Rogue, Blindspot, and Mystique are hired by Sunfire's evil Uncle Tomo to break into a lab and steal the secret of adamantium for him. He sends his nephew Sunfire with them.

The four break into the lab, but are attacked by deadly ninjas. They battle honorably, during the course of the fight Sunfire is knocked out and Rogue then steals his powers and kills all the deadly ninjas. However the lab did not hold the secret of adamantium. In the end they come out with nothing. However in the end Blindspot double crosses them and wipes their memories. Rogue then snaps back to reality, Blindspot explains that Deathstrike is holding her captive because she believes that they stole the secret of adamantium from her father. However it's now revealed that the mission was a failure and Blindspot then begs Rogue to help her or Deathstrike will kill her.

Review: This issue sees the return of regular artist Karl Moline, but his artwork just sadly comes off as rushed. Most of the artwork over the last few issues of this series no matter who was drawing it just comes off as rushed. The story starts off with high action, and movement. However it quickly slows down for the rest of the issue, with a little pick up during the flashback scene. This was a hard issue to judge, I honestly didn't feel one way or another about it. This series has produced better issues, and then it's produced worse as well. It's nice to see some actually story/plot reveals in this issue about Blindspot, and her relationship to Rogue, and why Rogue can't explain the mysterious mission she was photographed for. One of my biggest problems with this current arc is the fact that regular artist Karl Moline can't keep a monthly schedule and is forced to have fill ins for a few issues, also when he does finally do an issue his work comes off as rushed, and very weak. I hope the art improves for the remaining two issues, and I wonder what Sunfire's ultimate fate will be in the end.
