Rockslide

Codename Etymology: Pronounced rŏk'slīd' [From Vulgar Latin rocca + Middle English sliden]; The sudden fall of newly detached rocks.
Powers & History: Santo’s giant body is composed of gray rock, which enhances his strength and durability. He also has the ability to detach any part of his body, which he mostly uses to launch his arms, though he has no way of reclaiming them save going and picking them up. A student at the Xavier Institute, Santo quickly became friends with Julian Keller (Hellion). Like Julian, Santo changed his advisor to Emma Frost, and after the rebuilding of the school, became a member of the Hellions squad, taking the name Rockslide. Santo never questions Julian’s command, joining in on the mission to rescue Kevin Ford (Wither) that almost landed the Institute in trouble with the FBI. With Santo’s help, the Hellions captured the first award for the Field Day competition.
When the Hellions went to Julian's house for the summer and made a deal with the Kingmaker for their hearts' desires, Rockslide became a professional wrestler in a super-powered league, easily defeating his first opponent. When the Hellions rejected the Kingmaker's offer, the villain shattered Santo with a laser blast. Hellion used his telekinesis to piece Rockslide back together, and he helped defeat the Kingmaker. Santo was apparently banned from the wrestling league.
Later, after M-Day, Rockslide's body was shattered again by Nimrod, but this time he was pieced together in a more spiky configuration, which he didn't seem to mind. However, he could no longer fire off his limbs, and would explode if he tried. He continued his normal bragging about his accomplishments, and tried to make it seem as if he was in charge of choosing new members for the squad. When the students were transported to Limbo by Belasco, who was searching for Magik, Rockslide was shattered yet again. This time however, he re-formed himself, possibly using material from Limbo itself, transforming him into a black rock with lava appearing in the cracks. He also appeared immune to Magik's spells in this form.
After returning home, Beast theorized that Rockslide was really a psychic entity with the ability to form a stone golem from rock in his vicinity. He had Santo try to fire off his arm, which caused him to shatter, but this time, he re-formed with normal rock, and returned to his pre-Limbo look. Whether his ability to detach limbs has returned as well is still unknown.
