Codename Etymology: Pronounced rə-vänch' [Old French revancher "to revenge"]; The act of revenge.
Powers & History: Kwannon was a low-level empath and the lover of Matsu'o Tsurayaba. After a fall that damaged her body and mind, part of her mind was placed in the original body of Betsy Braddock (Psylocke), who had just exited the Siege Perilous with little to no memory (Betsy's mind migrated to Kwannon's body). She then became a high-level telepath, and joined the X-Men while she and "Psylocke" sorted out their true identities. She eventually died from the Legacy Virus, and returned what parts she had of Betsy's mind to Psylocke. It's very confusing: See Psylocke, or better yet, read UXM 255-258 and X-Men 20-22 and 31-32.
