Codename Etymology: Pronounced sĭn'ăps' [From Greek sunapsis "point of contact" (spelling changed to match with psy- "mental" prefix)]; A junction where nerve impulses pass.
Powers & History: Psynapse was one of the original Dark Riders and a mid-range telepath. It was his intrusive psychic attack on Jean Grey that reawakened her telepathic powers. Psynapse was killed by his teammates after apparently contracting the Legacy Virus. He was sometimes portrayed as being a tiny man, but that may just have been in relation to Tusk, upon whose shoulder he often sat.
