Codename Etymology: Pronounced păr'ə-dīm' [From Greek paradeiknunai "to compare"]; Something that serves as a model.
Powers & History: The techno-entity known only as Paradigm was originally a Hong Kong boy with technokinetic abilities. He was kept in an institute and constantly observed by researchers. When he was thirteen, the doctors injected him with what must have been a sample of Phalanx material. The Transmode Virus infected his entire body, but due to his technokinetic abilities, the boy remained in control of his new techno-organic body. "Paradigm" escaped the lab, and went on a search for new biological and technological systems to integrate with itself. It feels that only by constantly adapting can it survive. Apparently, Paradigm can change into shape it wants, and can also use techno-organic tendrils to encase, subdue and manipulate other creatures, even humans. It can also fly, and probably has all the other abilities of a nascent Phalanx. Somehow, it was contacted or found by Chris Aaronson (King Bedlam) and recruited into the New Hellions. Paradigm does not appear to share the New Hellions' goals of power, wealth and world domination, but seems to have joined for protection benefits and the chance to study more systems to be used for later adaptations.
