Codename Etymology: Pronounced ō'gŭn [Origin unknown - Japanese?];
Powers & History: Ogun was a master of martial arts, but he may have had some demonic connections, and may have been immortal (recall the story about him and Musashi from Kitty Pryde/Wolverine #4). He definitely used magic to brainwash Kitty into becoming his demon ninja assassin. He was killed by his former student and friend Wolverine. However, he has returned a number of times, once to take over S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier, and another time to possess people around Wolverine, apparently to secure possession of a mystical box.

Months later, Wolverine discovered that Ogun had possessed Blok, the henchman of the sociopathic Mr. X. Following a Bloodsport cage match between X and Logan, Ogun began possessing people around Logan in an effort to incapacitate him and take possession of his mind. However, Wolverine's brain was too chaotic and horrible for Ogun to manage, so he took Viper instead. Wolverine stabbed Viper, forcing Ogun to divest himself from her. With no one to enter, he dissipated into the astral plane, presumably forever.
