Part 8 of "X-Tinction Agenda"

Synopsis by CharleyX:
While Cyclops holds Hodge back, Storm restores Jean's powers, but even the combined might of the three of them proves ineffective against the demented cyborg's force field. Then, an explosion goes off, and Hodge phases through the floor to his now-destroyed lab. Cyclops fills everyone in: the automatic bomb was set by Forge to find the control center and blow it up. Forge voluntarily stayed unconscious so that Hodge would not learn of its existence. Meanwhile Ric, Jubes, and Boom Boom find the Genegineer using a mutate to tunnel under the Citadel. The bomb's explosion kills the mutate, and knocks out Moreau. The kids take Moreau into the now-revealed lab, which belongs to Hodge. Hodge enters, looks around, and leaves, dropping the canister with Warlock's ashes onto the floor, where Boom Boom picks it up. Ric wakes Moreau up and demands to be taken to Wipeout. The rest of the mutants are by now fully powered, and Cable and a revived Forge repair their bionics. Anderson explains that Moreau changed Storm's mutate process to allow her to restore their powers, becuase he wanted to destroy Hodge. Cyclops send Cable and the remaining New Mutants after Rahne, while everyone else goes after Hodge. Sitting in a detention cell and accused of murder, Havok manages to remove his power-dampening collar. In Hodge's lab, Rahne reappears and attacks Rictor. Moreau tells them that Wipeout is dead, and the Rahne's mutate process is irreversible. Storm and Cable arrive, and the kids' powers are restored, but although Rahne's mind-control is broken, she cannot return to human form without reverting to the zombie-like mutate state. She remembers all that Hodge did to her and vows revenge. The kids start ripping up the lab, as Hodge battles the other X-Men in another part of the Citadel. The further destruction of the lab brings Hodge there, and he impales more of the mutants, before Moreau confronts him with a giant gun. Hodge grabs Moreau, and the two fight until Hodge snaps the Genegineer's neck. Hodge retreats.
