Part 2 of "X-Tinction Agenda"
As Cable and Banshee rally the troops, the captured mutants arrive in Genosha and come face-to-face with a monstrous Hodge, now only a head in a huge cyborg scorpion body. Their powers are wiped by Wipeout, and they are to be put on trial for crimes against the state. To avoid that fate, they are given the option of submitting to the mutate process. Warlock, is not so lucky. Hodge wants to assimilate his Transmode capabilities to allow him to shapeshift his grotesque body. However, before he can be strapped into the machine which will drain his energy, Hodge is distracted and Warlock slips away to free his teammates from their cells. While Boom Boom and Rictor escape, Wolfsbane goes back and tries to free the recaptured Warlock, but only manages to sever the cable connecting him to Hodge. Warlock, already drained of energy from the teleportation, disintegrates.
