Synopsis: Magik II and Nightcrawler are confronted by S'ym, who boasts that they have played right into the evil force's hands by uniting the Splinter Realms. The heroes try to convince S'ym that he will be betrayed, not rewarded, but the demon leaves. Then the Big Bad appears. The legions of the Splinter Realms fight, but they aren't strong enough. Magik asks the other leaders to pool their powers for a divining spell, and they agree. She creis out when she realizes what the Evil is. She collapses onto Kurt and send him to Earth via stepping disk. Kurt arrives in the hotel where Nugent was creating the mystical database bathtub, realizes that the database is the Evil and cuts it apart with his sword. The Big Bad stops its rampage just in time. Later, the other Demon Lords leave, and Kurt consoles Amanda, who is upset that her effort to run Limbo more easily backfired and nearly destroyed everything. You see, the database became sentient at some point in the future, and after it had amassed a huge amount of power, it traveled back in time to secure its own creation by destroying those who might want to stop it. Yay.
