Another solid issue, though with a bit less action than previous ones. And the battle with Mephisto was a little too like the one with Dormammu in #2. But those are really minor points. Again, I found the combined computer and pencilled art fascinating, especially in the convocation scenes. Another great thing this issue was the opportunity to see many of the demonlords Marvel has introduced over the years together, with an explanation of their coexistence. Interesting that the Splinter(ed) Realms were once and are now again one. I wonder who ruled the original Realm? And as I predicted last issue, it was indeed S'ym (got to get him a bio) behind the destruction of the Splinter Realms. Granted, he's not the main man, but he was posing as Duke Bleys and manipluating things from within. Interesting disguise, that, with a small second head and right arm, as if he were two beings - which he was. Nicely done. Finally, the villain is revealed, and boy, is he ugly! Skull and bones and all that. This LS is poised to deliver a giant climax, which hopefully will have an impact on the various Underworlds of Marvel. But will Kurt get the girl in the end? I hope that his preistly inclinations are dealt with again in the finale.
