Kitty is discovered in the office and Shigematsu wants her caught and questioned to find out what she heard. Carmen yells for them to leave her alone, but the body guards go after her anyway. Kitty beats up the guards and escapes, leaving her father behind. She's mad at her father for being a crook.

Ogun asks Shigematsu for Kitty as payment for his services, he agrees. Carmen wants to know what's being said about Kitty. He tries to jump Ogun, but Ogun twists his arm behind his back. He tells Carmen that Kitty is now dead to him, that she belongs to him and that if Carmen tries to interfere in anyway that he'll kill him.

Kitty runs, phasing her way down through the building and into the basement. Her fever has become worse and she's having trouble moving. Ogun catches up to her in the basement and uses some sort of gas or powder to knock her out.

Wolverine arrives in Tokyo. He passes through the airport, with some trouble about his adamantium setting off the metal detectors, and then heads out saying he's in town for business.

Kitty comes to in the dark. Someone turns a spotlight on her, but she's paralyzed and unable to move. She's afraid to phase for fear of falling straight down into the ground and suffocating. Ogun appears and begins slicing away at her clothing and hair. Kitty is helpless and believes he means to kill her. She cries out mentally for Xavier to help her. Ogun uses "ninja magic" to possess her and teach her ninja skills. He has total control of Kitty.

Shigematsu is attacked in his home. All of his body guards are taken out and he comes face to face with Wolverine. When he asks what Wolverine wants, Logan tell him he wants Kitty Pryde. He tells Shigematsu that Kitty is considered to be family by himself and Lady Yashida and that if she is harmed they will have to answer to him. Shigematsu tells him that he doesn't have her and Wolverine tells him he better get her. Shigematsu calls Ogun and tells him what is happening.

In the training room Ogun sends his men after Kitty to kill her. When Kitty takes out all of the men Ogun tells her he is proud and calls her daughter. Back in his study on the phone, he tells Shigematsu to arrange a meeting with Wolverine that the girl will be there. He plans to use this meeting as a test of Kitty's conditioning. Kitty enters the study and Ogun tells her that there is an enemy that wishes him dead. He wants Kitty to take care of him. Kitty tells him not to worry about him any longer, that he is as good as dead.

A note on placement - this LS takes place concurrent with Uncanny X-Men #184 through #191.
