Synopsis & Review by Namor_1111a:
Synopsis: J. Jonah Jameson wakes up in a pile of garbage in a back alley somewhere. He tries to get his bearings, then he has a flashback about what happenend with the Green Goblin. Then he finds Peter Parker's teenage diary and he remembers everything. On his journey home he decieds to read some of the passages. Just then we see Venom holding or rather dangling Gwen Stacy off a very tall building in downtown Manhattan, while Spider-Man is swinging in for the rescue. Then the dastardly Venom drops Gwen and she starts falling to her doom. Spider-Man then dives to save her. We then cut to the talkshow "Mutants in the Morning" where we see Peter Parker and actress Mary Jane-Watson plugging that Venom scene from their new movie "Spider-Man: The Final Chapter." Peter's wife Gwen watches in jealousy as MJ grabs Peter's hand. Peter soon discovers that his publicist J.Jonah Jameson has been abducted by someone dressed as the Green Goblin. The only person they can think of is Peter's ring partner Crusher Hogan. He sends his bodygaurd The Rhino after him, but forgets to tell him not to hurt Crusher, and yells that out after him...

J. Jonah Jameson on his walk home remembers his terrible past of horrible memories of Peter Parker abusing him. Jameson trys to barter his pure silver cufflinks for a phone call or a ride home, the best it get's him is a bottle of water. Rhino and Crusher Hogan battle it out at the gym, it ends looking like the Rhino has made Crusher see his last sunrise laying dead in a pile of rubble, however looks can be deceiving. Peter then trys questioning Norman Osborn later on but get's nowhere with him. Jameson then stuggles to make it home through the subway just as Peter as Spider-Man set's out to find him. Spider-Man fights his way through a mob of fans in the subway before he finds a crazy ranting Jameson giving an interview for television that exposes Spider-Man as a fraud, the public discovers that he's a not a mutant, and he's nothing more then a homo sapiens.

Review: The story to this point has been very entertaining and seems to be building up nicely, with three more issues to go the final pay off should be very good. Salvador Larroca's artwork is phenomenal like usual, however my only major compliant with his work is that when he produces two books a month like he's doing now his work comes off rushed and not as detailed as it should be. I can't wait until he's back to doing only one book a month. I really enjoy Waid and Peyer's take on Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the House of M Universe, it is a very interesting one. Fame and riches make Peter an arrogant jerk that has a stupid Vin Diesel complex. Well a lot of fun and intriguing ideas were brought up in this issue and I can't wait till next issue for the continuation.
