Codename Etymology: Pronounced lŏk'ŭp [From Old English, loc: "bolt" + Middle English]; A prison.
Powers & History: Lockup was a mutant infected with a Brood embryo by Broodqueen Harry Palmer. His power was to secrete a neural paralyzing agent through skin-to-skin contact. Following the Brood embryo's activation, Lockup was one of the Brood who defended Palmer against the X-Men in Denver. He was able to temporarily paralyze Wolverine, and escaped the first battle along with Palmer and some of the other Brood. The fighting eventally moved to the site of the Glory Day Ministry's dawn rally, where Lockup was crushed by a wall that was toppled by Spitball.
