Codename Etymology: Pronounced kīlōōn [Derived from his given name, "Colin," from French, a diminutive of Col, itself a dimimutive of Nicolas. Colin was a common shepherd's name in pastoral verse].
Powers & History: Kylun can reproduce any sound that he's heard with fantastic accuracy. He is also a master swordsman. As a young boy Colin McKay was hunted down by the London crime queen Vixen because she thought his mutancy could be useful to her. In his hiding place in a warehouse, Colin found Widget, who opened a dimensional portal to the parallel Earth known as Ee'rath, letting the boy escape. Colin grew up on Ee'rath and became a warrior, taking a stylized Widget as his totem. Now known as Kylun, he fell in love with the Princess Sat'neen and after her mother was deposed by Necrom, joined and led the rebellion against the sorcerer. In the final battle with Necrom, Sat'neen was killed and Kylun pursued his enemy into a tower, emerging in Excalibur's bathroom. After the team defeated Necrom's bid for ultimate power, Kylun stayed with them for a while, and then went to reintroduce himself to his family.

Unfortunately, Kylun's family was away at the time, so he ended up killing time in the area until they returned. Then he settled back into the humdrum routine of suburban British living, doing chores and making dinners. He lamented the lack of action to Micromax when the two reconnected at the wedding of Captain Britain and Meggan.
