Codename Etymology: Pronounced kä'mĭ-kä'zē [From Japanese, kami "divine," "spirit" + kaze "wind"]; Japanese pilots in World War II who performed suicide crash attacks on enemy ships.
Powers: A Japanese mutant, Kamikaze could fly and then detonate the air around his body in a large explosion. He was killed while sneaking up on Archangel, who cut off his head with his then-metallic wings. Kamikaze was once referred to as "Samurai" by his teammates, but then immediately afterwards referred to as "Kamikaze" by Cable, so "Samurai" may be assumed to be a nickname.
