Codename Etymology: Pronounced här-pōōn' [From Latin, harpa: "(grappling) hook"]; A barb-tipped spear, usually attached to a rope, mostly used in whaling.
Powers & History: Harpoon transforms the weapons that are his namesake into energy as he throws them. The energy appears to disrupt its targets' nervous system, but may also have a direct affect on their powers. Harpoon was responsible for injuring Shadowcat, rendering her a living ghost for some time, and for crucifying Angel by his wings, which led to their amputation.
