Codename Etymology: Pronounced här'nĭs [From Old French, harneis]; Straps use to attach an animal to a plow or cart.
Powers & History: Harness wore an armored suit that projected an energy lasso she could use to mentally control her son Glibert (Piecemeal). This lasso was her mutant power but she may have needed the suit to focus it. She may also have been the one tracing the energies her son absorbed. The suit enhanced her strength and had a teleportation device, as well as a host of lethal weapons. She also appeared to have cybernetic connections, perhaps allowing her to mentally control the suit itself, or at least augment its performance. When Piecemeal finally exploded from all the energy he had absorbed and was merged with Proteus, Harness was taken prisoner by him. However, when X-Factor convinced Proteus to discoporate, Harness was returned safely. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
