Codename Etymology: Pronounced hăm'ər [From Old English, hamor]; A tool or weapon with a metal head attached to a haft, primarily used for pounding.
Powers & History: None (human). Hammer is, however, a technical genius, specializing in hardware. Years ago, while a member of the Six Pack, Hammer and the rest of the team were trapped by Stryfe, who had lured them into the trap with a CD of his secret files. Cable needed those files and though Stryfe had captured Kane and threatened to kill him, Cable warned Hammer not to return the disk to the villain. Hammer saw no other way to sace Kane, however, so he began to hand the disk over. Enraged, Cable shot Hammer in the back. Unfortunately, the blast paralyzed Hammer permanently and completely. When he was finally recovered from the wreckage of Stryfe's base, he was a quadripalegic, and has been confined to a mouth-activated wheelchair ever since. Needless to say, he has harbored a tremendous amount of anger towards Cable as a result. Years later, Hammer helped Domino and Grizzly break into Canada's Department K to dig up some info on Cable. Hammer supplied his former teammates with holographic camoflauge units, similar to image inducers, and they escaped the Weapon P.R.I.M.E. strike team in his converted flying Winnebago. Hammer has yet to confront Cable and exact his revenge.

Months later, when Cable unleashed and then purged the Facade virus all over the globe, Hammer joined a new Six Pack team tasked with bringing Cable down. Hammer took a more active role on this mission, having built himself a floating chair with mentally-controlled robotic arms capable of firing weapons and manual tasks. Cable did not stop the Pack's infiltration of his station, Providence, but also did not allow them to do any damage until Deadpool had neutralized his mental abilities. Hammer and the Six Pack, however, were temporarily trapped in Cable's mind until Deadpool re-booted Cable's immune system with an infant Phalanx.
