Powers & History: Gaza is blind, but was mutated to have his other senses elevated to superhuman levels. He can hear and smell things far outside the normal human ranges, and can therefore function as if sighted. Originally a thin man who walked with a stick, he has appeared very muscular and is even referred to as a giant. While the rest of the Mutates can sometimes be fooled by telepathy or technology, Gaza is most dangerous because he can "see" through the illusions of his enemies.

Gaza was among the original mutates created by Magneto on his first journey to the Savage Land. He has been a loyal member of that group, working for whomever was in control at the time. He has worked for Brainchild, but has been noticeably absent from the latest Mutate schemes.
