Pyro

Full Name: Unrevealed
Affiliation: Magneto's Acolytes
Origin: Unrevealed
Appearances: Day of Reckoning I; Day of Reckoning II; The Toad, The Witch & the Wardrobe (cameo); Under Lock & Key; Dark Horizon I; Dark Horizon II; Impact (cameo); Cajun Spice; Ascension II (Future Pyro)
Powers: Pyro can manipulate fire into any form, increasing or decreasing its strengths, but he cannot generate fire, so he wears flamethrowers.
Background: Pyro, like the other two new Acolytes, is first revealed stepping from one of Magneto’s travel spheres during the Acolytes' attacks on the X-Men. Also like the others, once he has suffered defeat at the hands of the X-Men, he and his ersatz “colleagues” are spirited off to parts unknown.

Already a pretty scary guy based both on his significant madness and his penchant for pyromania, he amped up the intimidation factor during his next encounter with the X-Men by forming a skull-faced horseman out of flame! He also had an unsuccessful go at squashing the “guardian” spider during that same episode.

When the mutants were searching for Apocalypse, Magneto instructed Pyro to light the underground temple’s torches. He also lit into (no pun!) a couple of stone guardians during the course of the battle, but after sustaining damage had to be helped out by Quicksilver.

Later, he somewhat unwillingly granted Logan what precious little information he knows as to Gambit’s whereabouts after the Cajun had abducted Rogue. In what is perhaps the young pyromaniac’s best sequence, he sits perpetually rewinding and watching the tape of Magneto’s “destruction” at the hands of Apocalypse, laughing like a madman the entire time, mocking his former leader’s “demise.”

In the visions of the future experienced by Professor X following Apocalypse's defeat, Pyro is seen either in league with or at least on working terms with the remainder of the Brotherhood. The assembled group is standing under a S.H.I.E.L.D. banner, therefore it is unlikely this chosen location is a coincidence. It is a distinct possibility that he, along with the other (ex-?) baddies, is a member of the government-sanctioned mutant team Freedom Force, though this is an educated extrapolation.
