For example...in a fit of pique over the Dark Beast's experiments, Mr. Sinister has men, woman and children killed. That is basically how Marvel explained it. What if Mr. Sinister was actually trying to do a good thing? Concerning Apocalypse...a character that has had all the technological advantages and power for thousands of years and is struggling for dominance in the present is a bit ridiculous (even considering the most recent revelations). What if all his past actions are a kind of shtick and he is involved in an even larger more deadly conspiracy that only he is aware of? How an Egyptian slave is able to get on a Celestial ship, operate and manipulate the tech (when in more than one issue it has been said that he is no scientist) is explained. I will define his mutation in detail, in my mind much more than being able to control his molecules, his ability to drain life essences, his need for periodic sleep? I will delve into his background (childhood) to discuss in detail his survival of the fittest belief. The same with Sinister. These are only a few of the things that I am going to try to provide a much more rational and plausible explanation for. But the story will be based on all of their appearances. I will be sticking to continuity 100% (I have all the issues that they have appeared in.) I will attempt to extrapolate a much more logical story concerning these two Marvel characters and sticking to the belief that both characters are perfectly sane (the crazy raving villain doesn't hold much interest for me). As I said in a post on your site, Apocalypse's sanity will be based on the BU story in X-Factor #50. If you have the time and are curious (and don't remember the content), read the short story. I found it very interesting (a much more coherent sounding Apocalypse) and along with a few other obscure back issues came up with an idea for a story.
Thank you for your considering my story.
