Formed in the aftermath of the "Fall of the Mutants," and the apparent death of the X-Men, Excalibur champions Xavier's dream on the "other side of the pond." Ranging in number from as many as eight members to as few as three, Excalibur has always dedicated itself to the betterment of human/mutant relationships across the entire world; it is in many ways the global counterpart of the American X-Men.
