Powers & History: One of the mutants infected by Broodqueen Harry Palmer, Dive-Bomber had two pairs of insectoid wings that allowed him to fly. What his mutation was uncertain, as some "normal" Brood have wings without having mutant hosts. Perhaps his mutation allowed the wings to be stong enough to hoist him aloft in the half-human form he preferred. He also seemed to have a more rounder head than a typical Brood, presumably for its better aerodynamics.

When the X-Men cornered Palmer in Denver, Dive-Bomber sprouted his wings and took off after Storm. He was incredibly fast and highly maneuverable, and was able to chase Storm all over the sky, though he couldn't quite catch her. Instead, he attacked an airliner and ripped off its engine, forcing Storm to spend her time effecting a safe rescue landing. Once the plane was on the ground, Dive-Bomber zoomed in and too Storm by surprise, knocking her out cold. Unfortunately for the Broodling, when Havok saw him return with the unconscious Storm, he unleashed a plasma blast that killed Dive-Bomber.
