 Rogue: Well, y'all know how Irene Adler, known as Destiny, was one o' mah foster mommas. Along with Raven (Mystique), she helped raise me from a little girl into a woman. Now, Irene was a precog, with the ability to see the future. Most of the time when Ah was with the Brotherhood she would use it to help plan missions, or to give us a head-up when one of the good guys was comin' our way in a fight. Turns out, Destiny was much more powerful than any of us knew. When she first manifested her powers, she began to write down the visions she had of the future, some short-term, an' a lot long-term. After 12 months and 13 volumes, these visions stopped, and Irene was blind.
For years, only Raven knew about these prophecies, but right before that big fracas with Apocalypse and The Twelve, Shadowcat found one of the books hidden in a picture frame in Raven's New York apartment. Irene had actually left a note on the back of the frame for Kitty, years before they'd ever met. Freaked me out, Ah'll admit. Kitty didn't tell Raven before she split, but I figure she knew about it anyways. Reenie an' Momma must have worked on these visions for years. So this class is gonna take you through what we know of Destiny's Prophecies, providin' explanations where we can see 'em, and posin' questions where we don't know what's gonna happen. Who knows, one o' you might even come up with an interpretation we haven't thought of.
