Codename Etymology: Pronounced sĭl'ə [From Latin, from Greek SkyllE (sic)] A nymph changed into a monster in Greek mythology who terrorizes mariners in the Strait of Messina.
Powers: None (cyborg). Cylla was piloting a plane for Banshee and Forge during their search for the X-Men when she was blown out of the sky by Fenris. She was severely injured but was offered a second chance by Donald Pierce, who transformed her into a cyborg Reaver. As a cyborg, Cylla had cybernetically-enhanced limbs, sight and hearing, plus a variety of on-board weapons systems, including molybidium stell blades, Heads-Up-Displays on her corneas and slash trajectory targeting. Cylla escaped the destruction of most of Pierce's Reavers at the hands of Fitzroy's Sentinels, and was put into stasis in a coffin-sized crate at a warehouse.

Soon afterwards, the computer interred with her picked up the instance of the name "Logan" from a tap on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s phones and reactivate Cylla. Using a voice modulator, she called in a requisition to ship herself to Japan, where Wolverine was heading. When Logan was called into customs to deal with his package, Cylla broke out and attacked. Wolverine (along with Gambit and Sunfire, who had joined him in Japan) fought Cylla off and escaped to the Clan Yashida stronghold. Cylla was then found by Jubilee and Yukio and the two women fought and wounded the cyborg. However, Cylla was not finished yet, and repaired herself in short order to track down Wolverine himself, drawing him away from the scene playing out inside the Yashida mansion, during which Mariko was poisoned.

Months later, Cylla met up with Bloodscream, and as they both hated Wolverine, Cylla agreed to help Bloodscream find the mutant. After a long and food-less trek through snowy mountains, they actually managed to track him down and fight, but Cylla and Bloodscream were both weak, so in a blood hunger, Bloodscream killed Cylla and drained her life away.
