Codename Etymology: Pronounced sī'bər [From Greek, kubernn: "to govern"] Computer.
Powers & History: Cyber's mutant power was to track other mutants by reading their brainwaves. His torso was covered in adamantium, and one hand's claws were laced with poison while the other's were tipped with a hallucinogen. Cyber also had a cybernetic eye, to replace the one that was ripped out by his nemesis Wolverine. Wolvie dealt him a heavy dose of his own hallucinogen, so by his last few appearances he was totally loony. Still, his great strength and ruthless nature made him a formidable foe. Cyber was killed by Genesis, who used Death Watch beetles to eat him from the inside out in order to obtain the high-grade adamantium skin he had. Genesis had intended to rebond the adamantium to Wolverine's bones.
