Real Name: Christopher Summers Corsair did not know that either of his children survived until the X-Men first met the Starjammers on the M'Kraan Crystal's world, where Phoenix noticed similarities between him and Cyclops and telepathically made the discovery. However, Corsair swore Phoenix to secrecy and Scott did not find out about his father until Corsair came to Earth to help stop Deathbird and the Sidri Hunters. Corsair then reunited with Scott and Alex, and for a time, Scott considered joining his father in space. Corsair has chosen Hepzibah as his life-mate, though species incompatibility may render offspring unviable.
Following the Shi'ar defeat of the Kree, Corsair led the Starjammers in resettling Kree refugees in the unaligned worlds of the Clench. He worried about Hepzibah's streak of vengeance against the Shi'ar, to the point where he had to disable her link to the weapons systems to prevent her attacks. He also led the battle against the Uncreated, saving the Shi'ar from their attacks and once again earning the respect of Lilandra.
Months, if not a few years later, Corsair led the Starjammers to Lilandra's aid when the X-Men came to Shi'ar space in pursuit of his third son, Vulcan, long thought dead by all. After freeing the rebellious and legendary General Ka'ardum from his prison, Corsair fought alongside the Shi'ar loyal to Lilandra on the M'Kraan world, leaping to her aid after Vulcan killed D'Ken and claimed the Imperial Throne. Unfortunately, Vulcan, mad with power and rage, killed his father with a bio-electric blast. Corsair was buried on a small planet which he had Hepzibah had used as a getaway spot in the past.
