Codename Etymology: Pronounced frôst, kôr-dēl'yə [First name from Old English "daughter of the sea"]
Powers: Unknown, but probably psionic-based, considering that she is also immune to her sister Emma's telepathy. Cordeila first made an appearance when she "discovered" Mondo a mutant who saved her life on Samoa. The two became friends, but Cordelia later drugged Mondo and tried to use him as a way to get herself into the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle. However, her petition was rejected by Shinobi Shaw, the leader at that time. At that moment, a sqaud of mercenaries burst in and abducted Mondo. Cordelia ran to Emma at the Massachussetts Academy and convinced her to send Generation X to rescue her "friend." After Mondo was recovered and the truth about his relationship with Cordeila was revealed, Cordelia left the school in shame. Months later, Cordelia again burst into the school, babbling about someone trying to kill her. That someone was Mondo, who had been taken in by Black Tom Cassidy and trained to be a villain. He wanted his revenge and Gen X was forced to fight him (and Tom and Juggernaut) to protect Cordelia.
