Codename Etymology: Pronounced kə-măn'dō [From Late Latin, commandāre] A member of a special fighting force.
Powers: Commando, along with Stonewall and Super Sabre made up a trio of WWII heroes who found that society didn't need them after the war. They became vigilantes, and hunted drug dealers and other criminals in deathgames near their country home. Through a misunderstanding, Storm got involved in one of these hunts, but she beat them and proved herself worthy and their methods flawed. Commando and his comrades turned themselves in, joined Freedom Force, and served their country again. Before being mortally wounded during a mission in Kuwait, Commando was a master of hand-to-hand and armed combat. He was also nearly impossible to lock onto psychically, possessing the ability to act almost without thought. After the aforementioned mission, however, Commando was literally rebuilt into a heavily-armed cyborg by the U.S. government. He has bionic legs, a machine gun arm, and a cybernetic eye. His full range of abilities is unknown at this point.
