"Enema of the State, Part 1: Killer Clowns"
by Fabian Niceiza and Patrick Zircher

Synopsis & Review by Scurifer Illuminarei. Thanks!
Synopsis: The story starts with a synopsis given by two of the Black Box’s agents, both having hotdogs!! On the next page Deadpool is fighting killer clowns (??!! O_o Dude WTF!! Someone’s been watching too much It and playing too much Twisted Metal.). Anyway it’s just one of Deadpool’s more hated memories the Black Box and his scientists are trying to study and use to brainwash Deadpool into their assassination agent against superhumans (Fellas you just had to ask ^_^.).

The group describe programming Deadpool like trying to grab a wet eel with oily hands (EEWW!!). Several days of annoyance and misc. similar crap later they succeed. Well sort of, they tell Deadpool to kill superhumans and he bodyslides to Providence in search of Cable. Where he is attacked by Prester John again <_<. Before anything can get started Siren and Cannonballs shows up (Sam: That’s Cannonball. Scurifer: You shut up know little maggot. *Evil demon glare.* Sam: Okay!)

Deadpool makes another “I’m a fellow mutant and X-man” remark and gets slammed into a wall where he explains that he’s only after Cable. A little later while they try to find Cable after he goes missing in X-Force by discussing affairs with Irene. Deadpool comes up with a great idea to use himself and his link to Cable to track the wayward messiah. 4 days of being strapped up later they call in Forge to help (Wade: I NEED TO PEE!! o_o Poor guy, poor guy!). Forge develops a method to use Deadpool’s bodysliding to home in on Cable but before they can say more he teleports out. Fortunately they still managed to track him.

A second later Wade lands in a random Age of Apocalypse Alternate Universe (Now 90% less gloomy and 150% less lame than before.) still needing to use the bathroom. The Four Horsemen, well actually only three of them: Death = Archangel back in badass form (YEAH!), Pestilence = Spiderman in evil arachnid form (F@#$ YEAH!) and pfft Famine: Blob (Lame. BOO!!). Deadpool now armed with one of Cable’s magic/future-tech sword thingies holds his own against the three Horsemen till Spidey cocoons him and Cannonball and Siren show up. Deadpool isn’t sure if it’s them so Siren informs Wade of his obsession with a now defunct show called Manimal (Deadpool has a serious old people obsession. o_O.)

The heroes escape and regroup elsewhere where they contemplate who the fourth horseman War is. When speak of the Devil he shows up. And can you guess who it is?…yes it’s Sammy Squidboy…Just kidding it’s Cable and boy does he look cool in shiny silver armour.

Review: Dude this s@#$ gets funnier and funnier with each issue. Instead of fluctuations in art and story quality this series either remains consistent or gets better and better, never dropping. SAAAHHHWEEEEET!! Not really much to say about this issue. Somehow it seems more random (or original) than the other issues, perhaps it has some kind of finding Enoch affair or rediscovering God shtick or maybe even some twisted Noah’s Ark affair but I’m not seeing it yet. Though it may just be a dangler fixer for X-Force, or it may not be. Perhaps I’ll see it in later issues and somehow I don’t doubt it. ^_^ Excelsior!
