Codename Etymology: Pronounced brĭk'băt' [From a piece of brick]; A piece of brick.
Powers & History: Brickbat was apparently a mutant with super-strength and tough skin who was infected by the Broodqueen Harry Palmer. When Palmer was hunted down by the X-Men, Brickbat was among those Brood who rallied to his defense. He immediately morphed into a full Brood form, enjoying the even greater strength it afforded him, and challenged Colossus, the X-Men's powerhouse. The two fought up and down the streets of Denver, tossing each other through cars and buildings, shrugging off blows that would level trees, until they eventually collapsed a building on top of themselves. While Colossus survived, Brickbat was impaled on a support beam and died.
