Powers & History: Bloke had a chameleon-like ability to change his skin color to match his surroundings. The color changes were generally involnutary, and produced no other physical side-effects. However, he may have been able to "pink up" on purpose and that may have given him an adrenaline boost, increasing his formidable strength. Bloke also had three-fingered hands and two-toed feet, and large eyes that apparently extended back into tubular structures on the side of his head. What benefit, if any, was derived from this configuration in unknown.
Bloke started his freelance crimefighting career in San Fransisco under the name Rainbow, which aptly described his base skin color at the time. When his natural color turned to pink, he took the sobriquet of Bloke, and joined X-Force shortly afterwards. He soon revealed that he was gay during an off-handed comment on his first mission, much to the consternation of fellow X-Forcer Phat. Unfortunately, Bloke was killed by helicopter guns on that mission, while protecting the snitch whose information the team needed. Even Phat was distraught by his teammate's death. As X-Force was in the Communist country of Bastrona at the time, Orphan had Anarchist vaporize Bloke's body, leaving no evidence for the authorities.
